Part VII
Yazid planned to disperse various gatherings of people equally in Mecca and Medina by inciting fear and giving retribution to people . He had unleashed animals into mosque nabwi in Medina and thrown stones over circumambulating pilgrims of holy Kaaba.
The event is widely known as Waqiya e Hurra. He silenced all voices which tried to unravel the truth. The era of tyranny and despotism commenced from here. The focus of umeyya government anywhere across the peninsula of Arabia and outside it was to relinquish and fade the account of Karbala from the history pages.
Different strategies and tools were used to submerge the reason of the Karbala battle, lineage of prophet and successors, namely:
1- manipulating the fact
2- highlighted prophet’s companions to the point that it evades the account of family or family becomes secondary and in some cases non-existent
3- belittling the cause by calling karbala, a political fight
4- spreading rumours and myths extensively against Shia to harbour a general air of repulsion for them
5- minimising the essence of Hussain’s martyrdom by labelling it a general fate of prophets and noble people.
6- Generation of various publications to defend the cause of umeyya struggles
These are few major tactics employed by yazid successors to erase the face of Hussain’s sacrifice from the world.

Part VI
Hussain was martyred brutally at Karbala by yazidis. His sister and other family women and children were carried to Syria to bring them to the palace of yazid along with severed head of Hussain. The caravan was taken to Syria under the general impression of rebels for public to know.
Hussain’s sister, Zainab had already seen war, thirst, hunger, turmoil, children’s deaths and oppression at its worst form. The series of events has further heightened her bravery and courage for sacrifice in the way of God.
Zainab and her group was released after numerous months from imprisonment after making sure that she is in absolute shambles. The release was partly because the news was rapidly spreading around.
Zainab , while leaving, took the pledge that she will hold bereaved gatherings (/majlis) on her path to Medina at each place. She sobbed, mourned and grieved the unexpected loss of her brothers, children, cousins and family all the way.
Yazid’s control over the throne was getting weak day by day due to growing uprisings within Muslim states against yazid government.
But, he was not the one who knows any limit of tyranny. He retaliated in worst of the ways.

Part V
Hussain was brave, fearless and man of principles. He grew up in hands of prophet (who happens to be his maternal grandfather too). He learnt foundation of religion from his father, the fourth appointee of khilafat.
Power was less of a value for Hashims. The message of faith came out from Hussain’s family. He and his family were strict adherents of Islamic injunctions. Hussain was well known because of his attitude, knowledge , wisdom and valor. He knew no fear or lust for worldly powers. To obtain bait (vote) from a person like Hussain was no less than a challenge for Ummeyas.
To get what Yazid wanted, they had to apply force by hook or crook.
Hussain knew number of his people versus Yazid’s group (~ 75 Vs 4000). He knew the fate of this battle. He put his family life at stake including his thirsty 6 month-old baby whose throat was pierced with an arrow when Hussain requested water for him.
The battle of Karbala is a symbol of resolution and unwavering in face of corruption, debauchery and immorality. Hussain knew one thing; had Yazid got the leading position for people of Muhammad it would ruin the prophet’s message and its essence for good.
Hussain asked for one night …. to worship.
He did not tremble for a second when he knew all of his family members are going to be brutally martyred. He was inhibited to use water for three days. His nieces, nephews , babies and kids were all slowly fainting and passing out with thirst and hunger. His brother was pierced with arrows multiple times when he resisted and tried to get water from Furat river for babies and children.
His nephew was trampled under horses’ hooves that his body was untraceable. His wives and family women were led to pass from market places without head covers, his daughter’s ear lobes were ripped off and Hussain’s head was cut. His body was mutilated.
The chant of victory silenced the air of Karbala for the last time. Then, earth saw Karbala weeping afterwards for years to come; the sobbing and mourning became the ritual.

Part – IV
It would remain a greatest irony of the world till the day of judgement. How the last messenger’s family faced calamity and torture by ummeya!
Just because of Ummeya’s long-standing power struggle.
The first son (Hasan) of Muhammed’s cousin was a deeply pious and spiritual man. He deliberately distanced himself from authority and control.
He subsided himself to one corner and chose the path of contemplation and spiritual transcendence.
This era is highlighted by ummeyas ruling. When the ruler (Muaviya) was on the verge of dying he asked all important personnel of his cabinet to appoint his son (yaxid) as his successor.
This plan was actually a game changer.
The ruler’s son was not only famously impious but has an immoral personality. He was thoroughly disliked by everyone near or far.
Socially speaking, the ummeya has always been a market people; dealing extensively with money, material, authority, dominance and power. They have been least receptive to the essence of faith; a message, Islam.
On the other hand, the pillars of faith were deeply grounded in sweat and blood of Hāshims; not only because they were bestowed with revelations but also because inherently they have been the custodians of holy Kaaba. They were the take carers of pilgrims.
The adminstration and cabinet of ummeya had to endeavour extraordinarily to propose a corrupt figure for khilafat but more than ever to obtain a vote for him from the second son of Muhammed’s cousin, Hussain.

Part III
The arrival in Mecca bare-handed without swords was the mark of unprecedented and historical conquest of Muhammed.
The mark which was not easy to strike out. The whole situation went out of ummeya’s hand to the point that left them to stay silent for the time being. They had no choice but to wait until and unless proper time comes where situation would turn favourable for them.
It is important to note that Muhammad was closely followed by non Hāshim companions in his life at Medina and during some of the initial period in Mecca. At ghudr e khum, a place in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad took a pledge from his followers to appoint his hashim cousin closely for guidance after him.
Muhammed’s health deteriorated soon after the Mecca victory and he died.
The moment was briskly picked up to spread doubts and confusion about his priorities for guidance for his followers. His non-hashim companionship was used tremendously to exploit his preferences for afterward leadership.
On the other hand. Ghadir e Khum was evaded consistently to mislead people about his opinion.
The moment of his demise has disclosed many differences amongst people. Those who accepted Islam by will and others who accepted through compulsion.
The coffin of prophet was left unattended by many where only prophet ‘s daughters and Hāshim cousin stayed behind to bury him without any concern and care for the power deal.
The very tussle began at the time of prophet’s death and culminated gradually with decision and distribution of khilafat.
After the series of quarrel for ruling (which included not providing pen to prophet on his death bed, taking away inheritance from his daughter, physical torture on his daughter and then usurping leading rights of his Hāshim cousin) prophet’s cousin finally was assigned a ruling position after three non Hāshim appointments (khilafat) in the most corrupt and chaotic times.
The furious ummeyas wrecked havoc in the era of Hāshim’s rule to regain power and authority.
The power was given away voluntarily by Hāshims after some time to ummeya because the ruling was not central for Hāshim but the essence of Muhammed’s message was important.
But still the quench for absolute power kept on lurking amongst ummeya for decades to come.

Part II
Muhammed escaped various brutal attacks of umeyyas and came to Medina.
He and neo-muslims faced harsh time in Medina by Jewish tribes who along with umeyyas then tried to kill, suppress and harm Muhammed and his group from various sources.
Muhammed ‘s group was small in number but they reciprocated from time to time with equal force.
Muhammed’s message gained strength day by day mostly because of his kindness and humility. He was merciful over slaves, war prisoners and enemies let alone children, women and helpless individuals of society.
Muhammed’s popularity was a trumpet of death for ummeyas. They considered the message of Islam an end to their dominance.
After 20 years of fierce tribulations Muhammed has won the hearts of the peninsula and came back to Mecca, his place of origin in order to announce unbeatable success of his message.
On his return to Mecca the old vengeance of ummeyas silenced in view of sheer victory of Muhammed’s teachings, Islam.
But ummeyas have never forgotten it.

Part I
The story of Karbala depicts bravery and valour. Karbala taught the whole world how to stay steadfast in times of crisis, corruption and immorality.
The story of Hussain starts from the tribal lineages of Saudi peninsula where two clans were considered powerful and significant; Umeyya and Hashim.
Hashims have always been the caretaker for pilgrims who used to come to pay homage to holy Kaaba. Before 610 AD, holy Kaaba was a place of 360 idols. Pilgrims used to worship them and considered them as God like figures or daughters of deity.
Hashim tribe was quite famous in piety and kindness too.
The umeyyas were the main custodians of market place, authority and Economic positions.
The Umeyyas have always been in competition with hashmis to gain control and supremacy over them. Although, they have never got the chance to fulfill this desire until 680 AD. 
In 570AD, the birth of prophet Muhammad PBUH in the tribe of Hashmis has marked the supremacy of tribe for good but on the other hand this was the event which was never digested by umeyyas ever.
The umeyyas have tried their best to suppress the voice of prophet in order to dismantle his position and disregard his prophecy. They initially did it through verbal abuse then emotional and later on physical. Muhammad flew away from Mecca when umeyyas attempted to murder him.
